About this place
Łańcut is one of the few Polish residences that kept the original furnishing of its interiors. The last owner took part of the collection abroad in 1944, but the furniture, fabrics and library stayed put.
The coach house holds close to eighty horse-drawn vehicles — from carriages to sleighs. It is the largest such collection in Poland and one of the larger ones in Europe.
Around the castle stretches a landscape park with an orangery and an orchid house. Entry to the park is free.
Good to know
- Interiors are visited with a guide, at set times.
- The coach house has a separate ticket — the combined one is worth it.
- The Music Festival takes place here in May; some rooms may be closed then.
